4) The theme of my current calendar is playful food sculptures. This month features a scallion riding an orange-wheel bicyle with a smiling mushroom on a trike beside it. In April; a pear helicopter with sugar snap pea propellors.
5) My self-esteem sinks a little every Friday when my coworker asks me “So what’s new?” and I continually have nothing to say.
6) While lying awake in bed I find shapes and images in the pattern of my bed sheets. Discoveries I remember off the top of my head: a gorilla's face, a dinosaur with a Homer Simpson-like beard, and a cute, tiny creature that is all eyeballs which I named Margaret.
7) Each of my paychecks have a little red robot in the corner.
